Third class will be going to Dublin Zoo for their school tour in June. A letter will follow shortly but the date will most likely be the second last week of the school year..
The girls enjoyed singing as Gaeilge during the Tionol to celebrate St. Patrick's Day today. They arrived in to school today with a wonderful splash of green.
Room 6 joined the rest of the school n marking proclamation day yesterday. All the work done in class and on their projects helped the girls to understand the significance of the flag raising ceremony and minutes silence. They came up with a comprehensive guide to running the country fairly and in a caring way as can be seen in our class proclamation displayed on our door.
The girls rose to the occasion once again and delivered a fabulous performance of the musical to parents and students. We hope you all enjoyed seeing the musical after 'living it' since January. 😄Thanks again to all parents for your support.
Third class girls in partnership with third class boys were absolutely amazing today. They put on a super performance of the musical for other schools and RTE (newstoday - afternoon show). We are so proud of them😊.
Next week we will perform closer to home for the school and on Thursday for parents. Letter will follow with the details . Thanks to all parents also for their support with this project . It has been an amazing experience for the girls. There are some photos below of the musical and a lot of the girls chilling in the library and surrounds afterwards! We are working hard on a joint production of this musical with the boys school. The public performances (for other schools) will take place on February 24th. There will be performances for parents at a later date.
The girls had great fun exchanging their Secret Santa presents. All looked great in their Santa hats and Christmas gear and there was even a reindeer updo!
All the girls looked amazing in their costumes ( thank you parents!) . They did an excellent job of performing their play 'Elves on Strike' . They are an amazing group. Well done everyone 😄
